Did you know that Xero has an employee portal where employees can:
- View past payslips
- Apply for leave
- Get a copy of their year end PAYG summary
- Ensure that personal details are correct
- Prepare and submit timesheets
Setting up the employee portal is very easy.
The first step is to issue your employee with an invitation. This can be done by going to Payroll | Employees, put a tick next to an employee and click on Invite to My Payroll. The employee will get an email advising that your business has issued them with an invitation to My Payroll.
You can also watch a video created by my colleague Heather Smith on the employees view of the portal. Don’t worry, they cannot view confidential information, they can only view payroll information pertaining to themselves.
