Trade Gecko – my Xero Bank/Clearing Account is not showing for selection

When you are setting up the Trade Gecko / Xero synchronization, you may notice that your Xero bank account is not showing up in the Trade Gecko list for selection.

Don’t worry this is an easy fix.

Open Xero, and go to Accounting | Chart of Accounts.  Add an account code as shown in the screen print below.  Log back in to Trade Gecko and you should see the bank / clearing account you want to select for sync purposes.
